Ms. Isaac is a native of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago but considers the DC metro area her home. She graduated from the University of Maryland, University College (UMUC), where she earned a Bachelor’s in Legal Studies with a minor in Business Administration as well as a Certificate in Human Resource Management. While at UMUC, Ms. Isaac served as Director of Membership and Distance Learning for UMUC Society for Human Resource Management, UMUC Representative, University System of Maryland Student Council, and as a Stateside Student Advisory Council Representative.

While pursuing a (mostly) full-time degree at UMUC, Ms. Isaac worked full-time in the hospitality, healthcare, human resources, and government-contracting fields. Upon graduation, Ms. Isaac gained experience with various Executive branch government agencies in the administrative and human resource field. One noteworthy accomplishment was when Ms. Isaac earned a Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Department of Energy for her work with the Office of Human Capital Policy, Accountability and Technology.

Ms. Isaac is currently a rising 2L student at the West Virginia University College of Law. She has been active in several student organizations like the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA), where she currently serves as the 2016-2017 National Director of Alumni Affairs & Development. She will also serve as the 2016-2017 Vice-Chair to the Employment Law and Litigation Committee of the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section.

Ms. Isaac enjoys spending time with loved ones, honing her journalistic skills, and sightseeing.
