Keyawna Griffith is from Waldorf, MD. She graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland – College Park where she received a B.A. with honors in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish Language and Cultures. While in undergrad, Keyawna was the Co-President of the Black Honors Caucus, a member of the Honors College and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Keyawna is currently a second-year student at the University of Virginia School of Law. She is the National Internal Chief of Staff for the National Black Law Students Association, the Parliamentarian for her local BLSA chapter at UVA, the Marketing Director for the Black Graduate Professional Students Organization at UVA and a member of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. In addition to her participation with various student organizations, Keyawna has worked at the DC Pretrial Services Agency, United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, DC, Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth in Washington, DC, Legal Aid Justice Center in Charlottesville, VA, Coburn & Greenbaum PLLC in Washington, DC, and Hogan Lovells US LLP in Washington, DC
